It looks like as the print death date of the two classic magazines approaches, WotC’s spooling up for their online incarnations. Submission guidelines for the two have been posted over at WotC.

I can’t say as I hold much hope for the online magazine format. If past experience with Polyhedron is any indication, the quality of information and articles will drop through the floor. It’s a sad demise for classics.

I got introduced to D&D through issues of Dragon, and much of my early experience with gaming and gamer culture came from those pages. I hope that WotC can make the online versions worthwhile.
