Quick and Easy Props - Reward Posters

A reward poster is a great adventure hook for drawing in your players. Besides the obvious and easy take of ‘Hey, we need something to do’, there’s the recognition factor - anyone have a mystery villain they don’t know the name of in their background? Put him or her on a wanted poster and the game’s afoot. Of course there’s always the other option. Put the PCs on the poster for something they did or didn’t do, and watch the fur fly!
If you’re looking for ideas or your creativity’s stalled, I recommend Ronin Arts’ run of Fantasy Wanted Posters highly. There’s a freebie one available for point and click editing here. The others are very cheap ($1.50), and well worth it in ideas and game hooks.
