http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mi/20070919
Any of you Driz’zt fanboys out there (and you KNOW who you are) ever want to reenact the big battle with Icingdeath? I always did as a GM, cause Icingdeath would totally trash those two.
Anyway, here’s WotC’s preview of their minis set, ‘Legend of Driz’zt’ with Wulfgar, Driz’zt, and the dragon who got […]

WotC Update - Web Enhancement
An Exemplars of Evil web enhancement, Lawbringer Hemtose, presents a dedicated servant of St. Cuthbert who is perhaps a bit too zealous in his pursuit of justice, and his half-ogre minion, Albrik Blount.

Costuming - Makeup
Makeup is one of your best investments where a costume is concerned. Here’s my advice concerning ‘theatrical-style’ makeup.
Don’t go cheap. Inexpensive, yes, but there’s a difference. Tubes of makeup are better then the little trays they sell at Wal-Mart for Halloween. If you know what you need and the timing works, stock up at a […]

I’m afraid to look at all the sites with the 4e previews.
I feel OLD. Old and crotchety, even. I don’t WANNA learn a new system. I dumped White Wolf after a torrid, decades long fling for this nonsense. Not just changing the rules, but changing the ‘classes’ - all their subdivisions changed. And why? So […]

Van Wilder - writing inspiration?
I just finished rewatching ‘National Lampoon’s Van Wilder’. Oddly, I found it inspiring of plot and design. It’s a comedy, sure, but the characters are well-drawn for their purpose. Take Van himself. He is a reminder that everyone’s motivations are neither simple nor always conscious. His actions are driven by his anger at his father, […]

Quick and Easy Costuming - Cloaks
When it comes to cloaks you have basically two options, make one or buy one.
On making one - If you choose to make a cloak, you have to sew. Even I can’t avoid sewing forever. Nor am I terrific at explaining how to sew something. But I can point you at people who are good […]

Gamer Chow - Spicy Cheese Dip
Here’s an easy one. Take a pound of Velveeta cheese, and cut it up into cubes. Put it in the microwave for 3 minutes. Pull out, stir in a 10 oz can of Rotel Tomatoes with green Chilies. Stir, heat for another two minutes. Stir up again, serve.
To make a beefy dip, stir in half […]
